Medical Center Parkers who renew by Sunday, May 31, will be entered automatically into a parking sweepstakes, becoming eligible for prizes ranging from one year of garage parking privileges, to a reserved space in their current lot. All parking permits (and the corresponding AVI tags) will expire if not renewed by Tuesday, June 30; as a result, parkers who fail to renew will lose access to their gated lots. Renewal is easy: simply visit the Parking Web site, select “Online Parking Services” (be sure to have your HRMS Net ID and password ready), and follow the on-screen instructions. (Please note that this year, forms will not be mailed home; parkers without intranet access must renew by stopping by the Parking Office to pick up a form.) In addition to renewing your permit, the Parking site also allows you to pay tickets, submit appeals, and manage information related to your account. And with gas prices climbing again, you’ll also find helpful information on carpooling, including cost-saving incentives (reduced parking rates, ranging from 50 percent off to free parking) and the new Rideshare matching service (which provides a private, convenient way to start making connections with others who work similar hours and live close to your neighborhood). For more information, call the Medical Center Parking Office at 275-4524. |
