The 2012 URMC/SMH Mandatory In-Service materials regarding internal policies and procedures, Joint Commission and OSHA standards, and other mission-critical information, can be accessed online and printed here. Who must participate? All faculty/staff members in division 50 (hospital) are required to participate in the 2012 Mandatory In-Service Education Program. Additionally, University and Medical Center staff members in divisions 10, 40, 60, 90, 91, and 92 who have any type of patient contact or access to patient records or information are also required to pass the appropriate test before the year's end; passing is considered a score of 90 percent or above. Departments not wishing to print their own copies of the Manual may request them from the Copy Center; be sure to bring your department’s copy card. Remember, all employees required to participate in the In-Service are strongly encouraged to complete the annual program online via Blackboard, and may self-enroll into the course using the instructions linked here. |
