| Food Deliveries? Keep Out of the Main Loops |

Medical Center departments placing orders for food delivery should work closely with vendors to ensure that drop-offs are made only at approved locations (marked by red dots on this printable map). Due to the large volume of deliveries made to our medical center daily, this is one important means of managing congestion in our main lobby loops (Thomas Jackson Drive, to the north, and the Crittenden bus loop, to the south), keeping the Medical Center easily accessible for our patients and their families. Should you have any questions about where vendors should or should not park while making food (and other) deliveries, please call the Medical Center Parking Office at 275-4524. |

As health care reform challenges us to expand health insurance to cover 30 million more Americans – and improve the quality and effectiveness of that care, all on a smaller dime – traditional industry arrangements will only go so far. We sat down with URMC Chief Operating Officer Peter Robinson to make sense of how reform’s new financial incentives are rewriting relationships among players.
