|Patients Traveling South Clinton Avenue, Westfall Road: Expect Significant Delays|
|Monday, July 15 2013|
We regret that two roadway improvement projects are causing significant slowdowns—as long as 45 minutes—for patients heading to Westfall Road-area appointments (including those at our Clinton Crossings and Sawgrass Surgery Center locations).
Please be sure to budget plenty of travel time—and point out to patients that information can be found online on our patient information pages. Thank you in advance, for your patience as crews work to improve our city’s infrastructure.
TIP: Some patients of these clinics have suggested taking 390 to the Winton Road exit, heading north, then taking a left on to Westfall Road.
Again, we appreciate your patience at this busy juncture!
As health care reform challenges us to expand health insurance to cover 30 million more Americans – and improve the quality and effectiveness of that care, all on a smaller dime – traditional industry arrangements will only go so far. We sat down with URMC Chief Operating Officer Peter Robinson to make sense of how reform’s new financial incentives are rewriting relationships among players.
